Echoes Through Time Tarot Deck

A 78-card Rider-Waite-Smith based tarot deck where figures from vintage paintings step into the modern world.

Every character in Echoes Through Time Tarot once appeared on an artist's canvas — captured in a portrait, a domestic scene or a moment from another time. For this deck, I've taken those figures from the past and given them new stories to tell through tarot.

Each card is an original digital collage combining carefully sourced public-domain artwork with contemporary backgrounds, my own photography and other art elements. The artwork was created by hand using Sketchbook and Photoshop, with no AI-generated imagery.

The deck follows the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith structure, with 78 cards and the familiar suits of Cups, Wands, Swords and Pentacles, while taking a little poetic licence with the imagery along the way.
